ANNOUNCEMENTS:
* Attention Middle School Families - Due to area shortages, and increasing needs of our families, our local food pantries are in desperate need of peanut butter and jelly to make sandwiches for our Food for Kids program. If you are able, please send in a jar of peanut butter or jelly to be donated to help feed our families! We will be collecting jars of peanut butter and jelly beginning on October 1st and continuing throughout the month of October. We will have a donation area located in the Main Office of each building. Remember -Every jar helps keep our families fed!
* From September 15th through October 15th, our school joins the nation in honoring National Hispanic Heritage Month! This is a special time to celebrate the rich histories, cultures, and incredible contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans whose ancestry traces back to Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. We encourage you to join in on theme days, cultural presentations, and daily announcements highlighting Hispanic history and achievements throughout the month.
* AADA (Adolescents Against Drugs and Alcohol) will meet on Thursday, September 24th after school in Room 121. New members are always welcome!
* 7th Grade Safe Student Ambassadors will meet in Room 193 today, Thursday, September 24th during your lunch. Please bring your lunch!
* If students are having technology troubles, they can contact the IT Help Desk through our website at https://www.wcsdk12.org/departments/technology.
* If your child is sick or needs to miss school for a doctor/dentist appointment, please call the MS Attendance Office at x21521 or send an email to ms_attendance@wcsdk12.org.
