2023-24 Making a Difference Awards

There are so many examples of individual teachers, aides, drivers, safety, and other District staff that are making a difference in the lives of our children throughout our buildings. It is time to recognize these special individuals. The first nominations of the 2023-2024 school year will open October 1 and close October 15.

Prior to the Washingtonville v. Monticello varsity football game on October 6th at 6:00 p.m. our WCSD community will parade around the track to encourage that “No One Fights Alone.”  Each building (Taft, Little Britain, Round Hill, WMS, WHS) will be represented through faculty, students, and families participating in the march at 5:30 p.m.

Sunshine and smiles filled Washingtonville Central School District on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, as students were welcomed back to school for their first day. Teachers and staff greeted students upon arrival cheering, “Happy first day of school!”
