College art portfolio workshops
Attention all artists! Are you dreaming of going to college for art? Your portfolio is your ticket! Attend the two-part portfolio workshop after school on October 20th and 27th in Room 107.
This is your chance to learn exactly what colleges are looking for and get feedback from admissions counselors. The workshops are open to all HS students, and especially recommended for juniors or seniors interested in pursuing art or creative fields in college.

Washingtonville Wizards Tennis Saturday Youth Clinic
Attention Wizard Nation! Saturday youth tennis clinics will be starting October 3rd at the high school tennis courts from 10-11 a.m. This clinic will be free of charge and open to all children.

The WCSD Transportation Department is recognizing Operation Safe Stop on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
Operation Safe Stop is a statewide effort to raise awareness about the dangers of illegally passing stopped school buses and remind motorists to stay alert when sharing the road with school buses.
Remember: When a school bus has its red lights flashing, always stop.
