The Washingtonville Wizards Basketball Camp wrapped up last week, with 80 basketball lovers in grades 4-9 taking part in the four-day camp located in the WHS gym. Led by high school basketball coach Daniel Malvey, participants came together to learn, improve, compete and most importantly, have fun. View the full story to see highlights!

Washingtonville Middle School celebrated the completion of its first year running the Safe School Ambassadors (SSA) program, an initiative to help students prevent and stop bullying, mistreatment and other harmful behaviors amongst their peer population.

Recent Washingtonville High School graduate Malachi Taylor was inducted into the Wall of Champions Friday morning for earning the title of 400m State Champion, with an outstanding time of 46.98 seconds. Family, friends, coaches, educators and loved ones gathered outside of the WHS auditorium to witness this remarkable milestone in his athletic career.

This spring, the Washingtonville Central School District Board of Education held multiple meetings at each of the schools for its "Connections and Conversations Nights." At the events, families had the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the various roles and responsibilities of the Board of Education and encouraged parents to get more involved in their children’s education.
