* Student Council will meet on Tuesday, March 10th after school in Room 101.

* There is a NJHS meeting today, Tuesday, March 10th after school until 3pm in Cafe A. Please check Google Classroom for the topic.
* Information regarding the 8th Grade End of the Year events is now available. Parents were emailed last week. Information included the 8th grade t-shirt order form, recognition yard signs order form, 8th grade dance and 8th grade trip to Lake Compounce permission slips.
* If you'd like to attend Thursday's Peer Tutoring session you will need to sign up outside of Room 212 by Wednesday afternoon.
* This Friday and Saturday, the WMS Drama Club is putting on their production of Sister Act. This hilarious, feel-good musical will have you dancing in your seats! * The Washingtonville HS GEMS in STEM Club will be hosting the first ever after school STEM SPECTACULAR at WMS! This event consists of engaging challenges, and is a great way for girls to connect with female role models. The event will include a choice of three activities including Flight Lab-Think Like an Inventor, Engineering Challenge-Think Like an Engineer, and Science Experiment-Think Like a Scientist. The STEM SPECTACULAR will conclude with a fun stem related game, and there will be tons of opportunities to win fun prizes! GEMS in STEM is a HS girls club to encourage girls to explore science, technology, engineering, and math to help reduce the gender gap in these fields. We encourage girls in grades 6-8 to sign up for this exclusive event. Middle School girls must sign up in the MS office to attend. The details are as follows: DATE: Wednesday, March 18th, LOCATION: WMS, TIME: 2:30pm-3:45pm. Registration Deadline is: Monday, March 9th.
* Calling all STEM Wizards! Are you interested in robotics, coding, engineering, science experiments, math challenges, or building something awesome? Washingtonville CSD is hosting a STEM Night on April 29th from 5pm-7pm, and you can run your own booth! You can work alone or with a partner to create something interactive for families to try. This is your chance to showcase your creativity and innovation. If you're interested, fill out the STEM Night Sign-Up Form sent to your email by Friday, March 13th. Students must be available from 4:15pm-7:15pm that evening. See Miss Reyes in Rm. 196 if you have questions or feel free to send an email.
