Monday marked the 22nd anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks in New York City. At Washingtonville Middle School, members of the Aspire Team learned the importance of remembering the events of that day, and honored the memories of those lost by creating memorial ribbons to decorate the hallway.
The ribbons say, “Never Forgotten," and honor the brave people who were real life heroes on that day. It was also a nice reminder that so many heroes live among us in our communities every day!
